Much has changed in the past two years of my life as I am sure for many considering the pandemic, political and economic circumstances of the world. I personally took a very large decision to step back for a while and consider what path I would like to take in future. I felt a sabbatical was needed to adjust to some uncontrollable changes in my life and to regain a measure of direction for the future. During this time I was hoping to focus more on art, but I found that I struggled to stay motivated enough to complete many art works I started.
Enough was enough with the procrastination and recently I took action to up motivation levels. I am back in art class with Leonie E Brown after many years. I took uncompleted Mr Leopard to class which I had started early 2021! In 2 classes I completed him!
Leonie has allowed me to attend her classes in a "open class" manner, i.e. I am not doing any of her courses, but take my art and spend the 3 hours working on each piece. She directs me here and there in the right direction and I get to enjoy the pleasant environment of fellow artists.
Making this small amount of effort, forcing action and soaking up the environment, I feel way more inspired. The energy is back!
