Recently I have been researching different abstract expressionist type styles on Youtube and came across filter coffee pouring and even use of the ground coffee granules. So, I adapted this and created my own form of expressionism. For my "coffee" artwork I follow the following process:

1. I use charcoal an I write a personal message relevant to me. For this one it was "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits for the Lord"

2. I use thicker paint to create some thick lines and I add some coffee granules to this

3. I pour the coffee....multiple times and let it just do its thing...

3. Here and there I will add paint (gold in this one) and alcohol ink....I love this stuff....here I used Purple which made lovely purples and pinks and Cappuccino which has sparkles in it.

I really love this process as it is personal and one just goes with the flow.....expressing oneself!
